FAQs
What is a carbon footprint?
A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions created by your business activities, such as electricity use, fuel, waste, and travel. It’s measured in tonnes of CO₂ equivalent and shows where your biggest impacts come from.
Do I need to buy offsets?
No — offsets are optional. Many businesses first focus on reducing emissions and saving money. Buying carbon offsets is only needed if you want to claim “carbon neutral” status.
Can I claim government grants?
In many cases, yes. Businesses may be eligible for grants and rebates worth $10,000–$25,000 to support energy efficiency or renewable upgrades. We’ll highlight the programs you may qualify for and guide you through the next steps.
